What 'MY' is a 'New' 2006 Defender?

Pug diesels are excellent, however they are not designed by Land Rover!

The Td5 was specifically developed for use in an off road vehicle whereas the new engine is going to be an adaptation of an existing road going one and that's a negative in 'Defender tough' terms. In the name of progress it's also likely to have even more electronic control than the Td5.

I don't believe an auto will be offered, but even if it was, the electronic control which would go with it would be a real turn off.

The new Defender is going on sale Spring 2007 in the UK. That probably means it won't be in Australia until mid 2007 at earliest.

I'm confused - I went to the cars site thingy and put in landrover discovery 3 for a search it came up with none although there is a number in brackets behind discovery 3

the current crop of D110's all have white roofs - look a bit silly when you have a silver body for example.

Thanks for that - got a fright though saw a D3 V8 HSE for 109,000 - had all the bells and whistles though. But Vic. is a bit far for me to go get it :)
