pat on the back for a supplier

I got a phone call today from Alan at British 4WD saying the diff pinion seal I ordered was for a Defender and their records indicate I own a Disco and he didn't want me to make an error. I informed him I owned both.
How good is that for service in this modern age of who gives a damn there is a company we should all register with and use who do give a damn and above and beyond the call to help.
    Well done Alan.

    Well done Alan.
I got my tow bar from them. Made one phone call, had the bar on my front step the next day. Great service to get it delivered so promptly, 1200km away.

I mail ordered a new dizzy cap, rotor and belt set for the Disco shortly before a very long work trip and they had them here quick smart. He was very careful to make sure that the belts were the right ones because mine is one of the transition '93s with the 3.9. It saved me a heap of running around and the belts live in the car.

My only gripe is that they are happy to sell non genuine rotors that are plainly sheeet. Mine failed after a less than 5000km but still cost me $30 odd - a warning to others...

Great and top marks to Alan, but in these days of privacy, as in current Privacy Act, I guess suppliers have to be careful what they store on customers!!!

This is all stupid, I just sign the waver and they can store what they want about my cars!!!
