Very uncaring and unprofessional I think

Not very happy and unprofessional in my opinion. I rang my Neurologist today as my last appointment was a telehealth appointment over the phone. Normally his consulting rooms reception ring me to make another appointment. Since August no one has rang me, even when I rang them before my recent hospital stay, he didn't return my call. So today I rang the consulting rooms only to be told he has moved to NZ and is not practising in Australia any more. I think it is very unprofessional not to be told this earlier. Now I need to get referred to some one else and go through every thing from the beginning again.

My wife suffers from depression & anxiety, This sounds like my wife's Psychiatrist, since Covid he only dose phone consults , if she has an appointment for 10am she is lucky if he calls by 10.30 , most times he is 1 to 1.5 hr's late & sometimes dose not call at all . If we call to find out when he will be calling no one ever answers the phone & when she leaves a message on one will ever call back. This dose not help the anxiety at all. We have looked for another Psychiatrists but none are taking any more patients so we have to stick with him. Back when we could visit him he was always running late & the hospital he works you have to pay for parking before parking & when he is late you receive a heavy fine in the post , I always allowed an extra hour & some times that was not enough. When he changes her medication he never sends a letter to our GP so when she needs a repeat she has to try to get on to the Psychiatrist & some times runs out of medication while waiting to get back to her.
Finding a good caring doctor is like trying to find a good LR mechanic & unfortunately they eventually retire , our GP is near that time & is catching up on all his long service leave so he tends to be away more & more.
