    BLOCK STORM WATER DRAIN.

Our old teracottta storm water pipes got blocked causing water to overflow out of 1 of the pits. I called a company and some one came a couple days later and ran a camera and high pressure water blast along the length of the drain. He found some sections had dropped and water was trapped there. and a section of tree roots. He spray painted marks on the lawn where the issues were , and the company sent me a video of the entire pipe length. The video has measurements from the pit to the fault , saves a lot of blind digging to repair.

    Better than a colonoscopy.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

I think I'd rather pay the pipe doctor, Mario.

I got a 1/2 acre blocck witha alot of storm water pipes. Had a back flush that fooded thhe back section of my house. $6000 damage first time and a bit less thesecond time a month apart. Aafter running the camera up all my pipes and found to be all clear apart from a little bit grass root. It turned out that the council (shire) pipes were blocked annd the water wass running downthe road anddown my driveway grated sump annd backing up in my pipes. I have a BIL who is a counciler and he couldnt even get me anny sort of comp, I was only after $400 x 2, one for each claim

A few weeks ago our new neighbour two houses up who is getting a pool installed needed to pump rain water out of the shell so they pumped in in there closes storm water pipe & the water started coming out of the next door neighbour's retaining wall into our back yard . I went & stopped the workers & told them to pump it into the gutter in the street. I told the workers to let the house owner know . Few days later I went & asked the owner what he was doing about it ( they had not told him so he said) 3 weeks latter the water was still coming into out yard every time it rained , so spoke to him again to be told he had had a plumber in & the problem was in the back yard of the house between his house & ours so was not his problem & I needed to speak to our next door neighbour. 2 months on & the water still coming when it rains. I keep telling him to get a leak detector guy in to stick a camera down his drain but he thinks if he just puts the down pipe onto a water tank that will solve the problem not thinking there could be up to 6 other down pipes feeding the drain & the overflow from the tank needs to go somewhere. Think he is just trying to get out of it as cheap as possible & may be there is a problem with the pool , it's been over 6 months & pool still has not been filled & the builder took his signs away 2 months ago.

Few years ago we has a possum go down one of our down pipes & then got stuck in the storm water pipe between the garage & street ended up having to dig up the pipe & replace it .
