My daughter to the rescue

Bought my wife a ryobi drill, whipper snipper, shears, blower etc
Now she hangs all her own photos on the walls, puts together bunnings/kmart furniture like stands shelves etc and uses the whipper and garden tools flat out, best investment ever.
She always has been very hands on but now she has her own tools her skill has tripled.
My 3yr old daughter loves "getting on the tools" just need to watch where shes swinging them. Another 12 month's and she will be able to pass me what i need and hold torches etc, cant wait to see her getting into it with me

When we moved back to Australia my wife went and bought a lawn mower - for years afterwards I wasn't allowed to touch it because it was clearly too complex for me. So she got to do all the lawn mowing and I had to watch. Damn.

It's a big place (by Irish standards!). O Neill would not be a familiar name in my area.

We know a fair bit about my father's family but less about my mother's - will have to do some research on it.

Some years ago my eldest daughter was helping me doing summat. Boyfriend was trying to drill a hole in the end of a 1/2" rod for summat.
Him. "Drill keeps wandering around" he sez while getting the ****s on.


After a couple of tries at it & him cursing she said "Stick a decent centre punch mark in it"


He was absolutely amazed when it worked.

She had watched me work in the shed & been out with me on many Service Calls & you never know what they observed. Same with Cooking.:Thump::Rolling:
