    TD5 turbo bolt mystery

Type of bolt that secures the pipe-oil drain to turbo on TD5??

I’m having a lot of trouble finding the correct bolt that secures the pipe-oil drain to the turbo charger. I’ve looked at the diagrams for the turbo but it seems to be missing? I dropped the other one and it seems to have disappeared forever

    Correct.

    M6x15 should work okay.

The threaded holes in the turbo are 14mm deep.

I'm going to convert mine to studs if I do it again. I must have a slight twist in the turbo drain hose and
have lost too much time in the past trying to line up the bolts into the turbo!

yes I have a slight twist too, I must have done it when I was removing the turbo .
took me around 30 min to line it up after much frustration. Very awkward spot.

As others have said, cap bolts, as long as they are the same length.

While you have it apart, run a file over the turbo drain pipe, you will see that the flat plate is no longer flat, file it until flat or it will leak again.
