Heres looking at you. Saterlight view of the world in science Climate Trace

Emission reports are made by?? for reason which might be reported al la VW for example as waffle plus- Dieselgate Volkswagen emissions scandal
Busted and cost a few billion in fines to VW ( Australia 2019 $125 million for making false and misleading representations about compliance with Australian diesel emissions standards)

What about the whole world view. Trust or waffle?

Thousands of satellites provide amazing millions of images in normal, thermal and other views and often free information.

A ted talk on C02 emissions mentioned this site. Climate TRACE

What was interesting was we might be honest to a extent which is good to hear. CO2 Emissions: Australia - 2015–2020 - Climate TRACE

    The US report

Its plan for 2035 0% emmision power is a WOW.

What is measured and what is excluded is interesting.

China in Number One spot is of course a factor of what it makes for itself and us Country Spotlight: China. China is the world’s largest GHG… | by Climate TRACE | Climate TRACE: The Source | Sep, 2021 | Medium

Spent a interesting hour or two due to my future investments in power options mostly set for my retirement funds 300 satellites and 60 terabytes of data are very powerful data sets to consider. The waste area is my main interest. Often a very wasted resource we can use

Hope you enjoy some of it.

Gosh it even works showing fibbers here in Vic Forests

A few heads should roll for this one. Its one of those Oh Bugger. Fining them is fining taxpayers

"However, high-resolution spatial data and information obtained as part of an ABC investigation have sparked allegations that the timber corporation, VicForests, is putting this vital process at risk through widespread and systemic illegal logging of the region’s steepest slopes.VicForests is a state-owned corporation, tasked with harvesting and selling timber from the state’s publicly owned forests. The company runs for profit, however it made a $4.7 million loss in the last financial year, even after receiving about $18 million in funding from the state government."

Cheating is tough with satellites looking at so much of the world so often now Wish they could get those sods running red lights as easily

Saw a CSIRO Toyota hydrogen car Tuesday night - Very cool just a bit tricky to refuel at present. Like the CSIRO for much of its cool research.

    Mega fires is not cool!
Climate change is increasing the frequency of megafires in Australia and putting entire ecosystems at risk, new research by the CSIRO has found

Over the past three decades, Australian forests have undergone an 800 per cent increase in the extent of the area burnt bushfires, with researchers warning ecosystems are at risk because they are not able to recover between devastating infernos.
The research, published in the journal Nature Communications, is based on a first-of-its-kind study that used 32 years of satellite data and 90 years of ground-based datasets from climate and weather observations.

I'd love 100% gain in my shares and super Not keen on 800% increase in fires!

    Stop eating those BEANS all

It wasn't me really!! Ok I do at times. Liar Lair Pants on fire?

"How satellites are challenging Australia's official greenhouse gas emission figures

Using satellite imagery from the European Space Agency combined with meteorological data and atmospheric models, Mr Lelong, the director of natural resources at geospatial analytics firm Kayrros, has been able to measure methane leaks from the fossil fuel industry around the world.
What he has found above Queensland's coal-rich Bowen Basin raises serious questions about whether Australia has been accurately reporting its greenhouse gas emissions to international bodies.
"We found that emissions for all the 50-odd mines in that basin in total add up to about 1.5 million tonnes of methane per year," Mr Lelong told the ABC.
According to federal government figures for the same period, only a third of that amount of methane was reported in the area.

    "

Great how technology can find issues which might otherwise be hidden
