There are a few other you tube videos that give a better description of the way it works, but their description of the “turbine” is not really “g” rated, so not suited to this forum

My understanding is that the Spanish govt are going to put them in the alps along some of the pilgrimage trails where large turbines where deemed ascetically inappropriate.

There seems to be a bit of a resurgence in ion wind generators as they are super quiet.
