    Blade less wind generator

    New turbines that look a lot less obtrusive than the bladed technology in use
    Less moving parts and less maintenance, looks like a good idea

    My understanding is that the Spanish govt are going to put them in the alps along some of the pilgrimage trails where large turbines where deemed ascetically inappropriate.

    There seems to be a bit of a resurgence in ion wind generators as they are super quiet.
