Even though trucks use Tee bolts for all their silicone intercooler connection pipes?
Fully agree about the silicone pipes blowing off, that’s why my mate had a couple of welds put on the end of the stainless bends to help bite into the pipe.Quote:

Yes thats them, the coil spring version.
the clamps you are referring to are called Mikalor clamps , available in a huge range of sizes and material.
my D2 had mikalors on nearly every hose as nearly every other clamp broke......
