I bought the genuine LH article from my dealer. $35.00.
Why muck around at that price?

Conveyor belt is great if you are not worried about looks. Truck mudflaps are also great and very long lasting. I have some on mine that I got from a local Truck shop / workshop. About $10 ea. A lot thicker, more flexible and longer lasting than the crappy LR ones. Most Truck shops will either stock generic ones or ones with their name on them. Flash pic ones are usually dearer. Compared with buying 4x4 mudflaps from an auto acc shop they are peanuts. I have seen them up to $100 a pair from auto acc or $200 for things like RM Williams or CAT. Most will need a bit of cutting and trimming to fit, but the original frame plates on a Defender can be used, just gring off those stupid rivet thingies and replace with stainless steel bolts and nyloc nuts.
sounds like conveyor belt, good stuff that is:)Quote:
