    I had a parking fine a few years ago for parking over the time limit in a 2hr zone by about 15mins while shopping in an area of 20-30 empty parks, that were empty during this time and later. I told them to stick their fine and never heard anything again.

    .................& the reason 'they' usually give to justify parking fines is, "the fair turnover of available parking." Seems sometimes 'they' are just cash hungry to pay for the CEO's new office suite & general perks.

    I have driven on the Melbourne tollroads in the past and if you stick really really close to the car in front going through the camera points the system assumes you are a trailer... No Toll . Mind you, you do want to know the person driving the car in front...

    haven't tried that one Max. we don't do the 2 pit bulls (Rex and Princess) at botany any more, just became too much of a chore and we didn't really need it anymore
