Fine here too, at 153 metres above sea level and on top of the hill, I'm not expecting problems.

I'm expecting problems tomorrow and it won't be the weather.
The good woman just phoned to say that she can't get home this arvo and that she will be staying at her niece's place.
I suggested that she stay at work and do a double shift. You know. Think of the money!
In hindsight, probably not a wise choice of words.

    That is a bit wild.

We are the same as Ian,on top of a hill, good place to be in this weather.

One of the DIL,parents, live in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. The fences were washed away a couple of days ago,350mm in the rain guage overnight,as were the sheep.Cattle are fine, they didnt realise half the fences were gone, just stayed in the paddocks.

They found 6 sheep early the next day, went back to get the ute and trailer, came back and wild dogs had got to them, one survived.
They havent had much luck lately, two months ago, their Kelpie, which was 13 yrs old,but still good on the farm, got hold a bait,so that was the end of her.
They dont bait but many others in the area do,the crows are generally the culprits, moving the baits around.

Jerry's been keeping me updated with pictures of his fiefdom. I doubt they'll be any picnics on the ground this weekend.

    Not for you, Jerry.
