Well it's taken the main TV reporting off Covid for a while . & now it's NSW's turn until something happens may be the war or they move back to the Royal family.

What has happened to all the terrorist threats, lately? Covid seemed to knock them off the media bandwagon.

'Tis raining here again, with 190mm for the week, so far. We really picked a good time to reno the house, hey!

Our "Project Manager" was trapped by flood waters.

Oh dear, sounds like you had got to the stage of ripping the roof off & new ceilings & the new Gyprock had just been delivered.

Not really Reno weather is it, you should have waited for Autumn. Oh hang about.

Remember, even with Noah's bunch it only rained for 40 days & 40 nights so there may be light at the end of the tunnel.

With all your luck it will be the Brissie to Cairns express.

A great idea that & used in the UK a lot. I wonder what the seal to the ground is on the LH side & joining the blue sheets as it doesn't appear to let anything through at all. You just hope there are no Dutch kids around with pointy digits.

Just had another look at the Pic. Was Westpac originally the Bank of NSW? Any one else wonder about the position of the leeve leving a sunk bank Just Kidding the engineers did a great job.

Heavy chain on the inside to hold it down does an amazing job as no seepage is showing at all. Sandbagged first I guess

We were to have a new induction cook top delivered Tuesday , driver rang in the morning asking about access into our house & flooding in our local area , I told him the Centenary Hwy was closed at the bridge & he would need to come via Gateway & Logan Motorway , with that he cancelled saying it was too expensive , didn't want to pay the tolls. I would not have minded only that we purchased the cook top 7 weeks & I received a receipt stating in stock Brisbane & delivery 2 days , the day after D/D they contacted me to say C/T was not in stock & gave me a new D/D in 4 weeks , the day before that date was contacted again stating due to Covid & lack of transport from Melbourne the new date would be Tuesday. Now they are saying Friday so we now have to cancel my doctors appointments hoping they will turn up Friday. I spent half of Wednesday on the phone yesterday trying to get through to the supplier listing to how my call was important to them to be told it had been delivered & I informed them it hadn't because the driver wouldn't use toll roads . The centenary Hwy reopened yesterday , we have just had another 60mm over night & there is a lot more to come today so if this keeps up it may close again . To make things worst we lost power 10pm last Friday & power came back on just before lunch yesterday & the guy we who is going to enlarge the hole in our granite bench top business went under water in Sumner Park so we may have to find someone else. Suppose we can.t complain there are lots who have lost everything , just getting sick of cooking on one of those single burner stoves that take the small butane pressure cans.
