News re a resignation over flood recovery funds might be a bit spicy for General chat
Those that get it and those that don't divided by a murky system?
Hope every one gets the help needed myself. Not making a political mileage "Look at MI MI Me" just might help that happen.

I can't overstate it, it's still a bloody war zone here 
The devastation is more vast than anything I've been in/seen in my plus 50 years.
People from Brisbane and other parts of NSW who have been involved in flood recovery are gobsmacked by the scale and totality of it in Lismore.
In site meetings for most of the morning, was told that 2000 homes are to be demolished. I'm still lairy of those numbers, but it's huge.
I've resisted taking photos, if anyone is interested there are plenty on Insta and FB
#revivethenorthernrivers on Insta is a good one.
