Why not phone/text if there are just six ?
Joking aside,I don't 'get' Facebook. I guess as suggested I could just 'use' it, keep settings private etc. It seems that an awful lot of people live their whole lives out on it (including SWMBO)

Thanks for the feedback. I've only been around Series Land Rovers since 2007 so most knowledge has come from research or previous mechanical experience. I'm one of those people who doesn't pay people to do the work, I typically figure out how to do it myself. I also have access to a number of engineers, machine shops etc. to ask for advice.
The way the forum is set out at least you can just go to the sections you're interested in.
At the end of the day it's supposed to be a Land Rover forum which means questions/discussions around Land Rovers. There seem to be sections created for all sorts of subjects other than Land Rovers. I remember some years back there was a focus on individual post counts despite some posters posting all sorts of unrelated links ?!
We're all different and some seem to need to post all their problems & personal beliefs, I guess I'm more private.
Maybe as you enter AULRO you should get the choice of 'Land Rover only' or "Land Rover and all the other stuff (I was going to type something else but it would have been deleted)".
I guess our needs change as time goes by. I used to learn a lot from the forum, now I probably post more helping people.
