Angry Goanna the band , part of the boomer era new concerts

The Aussie band is going to perform in conjunction with Midnight Oil.
I've forgotten about this band but today they announced they going to do some gigs again, it brought back memories of the protests in my era. Especially the protests against the Tasmanian governments plan to dam the Franklin river in the wilderness area. Luckily the Prime Minster at the time Bob Hawke stepped in and put a stop to it, but at a cost to Tasmanian jobs, it was too important to not save this wilderness. it got heated at the protest sites with the police and the protesters clashing.

The Boomers get a lot of criticism from the young folk of today, that we are ruining the planet, but during even during our time there was people that stood up to say no.

I saw Goanna years ago. Can't remember where, but remember it was very good.

As for the 'Oils', I've never been a fan. Too contrived, for my liking.

How many original members of each band will there be?
It seems far too often, only a band name is reborn.

Mainly because when they reach this point one or more are no longer capable of playing an instrument, or in fact breathing.

    Midnight oil : 1
    Goanna : 2

It's often less about "do they have a finger on the pulse" and more about "do they still have a pulse".

Let's be frank, I love Goanna and "don't really like (starting with an F)" the 'Oils, but I'd pay good money to see either of them as a complete set. Neither are however.

To be clear, I actually like the 'Oils if I pretend Peter is singing in some foreign language I can't understand. Musically they are great and their backline (now partially deceased) I'd say was even extraordinary.
