New oil stains - remove ?

Should be a normal activity for Mrs Land Rover, removing oil stains from clothes...

Topped up son's car - in the dark - and a large amount got sloshed over my strides and shirt.

Tried soaking the patches in de-greaser, then soaked in a soapy bucket then into washing machine, normal detergent.
    - Still too evident..... Odd, as it works for used, dirty oil spots.

Any really effective Miracle Ideas ? Please ??

(SWMBO is not thrilled.... she bought the shirt..)

Battery acid.......should get rid of the stain and as miracles would have it, should make the shirt quite religious

    Seriously fokes,
    1. WD40 + Baking Soda + Dishwashing Liquid - lotsa youtubers swear by it
    2. Stain_removal_guide.pdfThis one is by a NZ mob similar to Choice - motor oil circled in red
    3. How to Remove Engine Oil Stains - This one is by a mechanic
    4. If money is no object....dry cleaning?
    5. If all else fails soak the whole shirt in clean engine oil, then wash, at least the stain will be even all over.

Can't say I have tried any of these techniques, I generally like to keep my oil stains in their natural habitat, on the ground under my Land Rover

    Good luck with it.

(Just to be clear, not serious about the battery acid)
