    Proud parent day today

    My youngest daughter graduated as an RN today, as did lots of others it has to be said

    Nicole took 9 years to get there as many hurdles were placed in her way for one reason or another, most of which i won't go into here..

    she has four kids, two of whom have issues, and has worked part time whilst struggling through it all, much of it without a partner

    Narelle went too extraordinary lengths to help and i did what i could, when i could to ease the burden.

    Brought a tear to my eye to see her finally get what she had worked so hard for over the years.

    and she finally has had some good luck and was offered a good job at a local hospital for her grad year and beyond as she passed with some very decent scores.

    Well done too my baby girl, Nicole....

    Married to an RN , so also know a few......most , not all should have their wages doubled.

    I just spent a few days in hospital and only have total admiration for those guys and gals.

    SWMBO just got offered another position tangential to her Primary Health Care role @ $110k and 4day week , so some recognition is being made to those who deserve it.
    BTW, she turned down the offer for personal reasons....I do hope another lovely aspiring RN gets the position.

    Congratulations, sounds like it wasnt an easy endeavor so full credit to her for sticking at it and to all involved for the support along the way.

    Eldest daughter went thru the RN ranks and is now an educator in kidney dialysis.
    The country can certainly do with more dedicated people in this very under appreciated and certainly under paid field.
