Plenty of them getting around Kalgoorlie at the moment, and I saw at least a couple on display at the dealership when I drove past there yesterday.
    Cheers .........

When you read a bit further they've "suspended" taking new orders because the current production queue in Japan is some 4 years. If I was Toyota I'd call that a "nice problem to have".

It'll keep the value of the older models high and push the cost of newer ones up even further. I hardly think the Toyota fanboys will be crying. They'll all be sitting back driving their vehicles that are worth more now than when they bought them quietly giggling.

Yep still equates to no new 300 for the grey nomads anytime soon, all those sales will probably go to the Y62.

Dealers are still saying 3 to 6 months, that is for an order that is not in stock.

Half the stuff in the media is only click bait.

Way quicker than, as an example,a Defender, approximately 18 to 24 months, which is only a guess.

The numbers of orders for 300 series is huge, something some other manufacturers could only dream of.

A mate has just received a Prado built "to order *" Wait time was around six months
    * Toyota don't actually build to order, they have planned production schedules for variations of models. for example if you want a metallic purple Prado Kakadu with a specific set of options your planned production run might be 6 months away, if you want a white poverty pack one it might be weeks away.

I saw a yout00b vid yesterday or smth and toyota does not have a nice problem to have it seems since they have WAY more production capacity (factories) then they are using since they simply have not parts. So it's a very bad problem for toyota to have which might cause serious economic troubles for them which in turn might mean they are going to do a "honda". They pretty much survived the 2008 crash on their own but it cost them a lot of development budget and since then they have become somewhat irrelevant in a lot of markets.

No, I don't think this it al good for toybota

    Cheers,
    -P
