I’m not convinced that Ford have sorted the 10 speed yet so a bit gun shy on the Ranger or Everest to be honest.

Guy at work bought one - from what I have seen, it would be on my radar.
If I were looking, Mitsubishi would be high on my list, if only for the ten year warranty.
Yep in all honesty the leader of reliability in the dual cab market at the moment and since about 2015 with the MQ, is the Triton. If you are not towing 3000kg day in and day out nor wanting a long alloy canopy with a lot of weight a long way back (owing to axle placement) they are a gem. The top of their line will still put about 20k from your budget back in your pocket. Test drive a top spec model. The manuals have a known issue popping out of third gear. Asin 6 speed auto is very well tuned to the motor and bullet proof. Apart from one intercooler hose (cold side) prone to fail (for which there are an abundance of extremely durable aftermarket replacements with a 10 min fitment time) they are excellent in my view.

I’ve been following your thread closely on the Triton - my Neighbour also has one and loves it and has towed a 2 tonne van around Australia in the last year. If I can get out of the commercial rego bit I really don’t want to end up in another dual cab though - I’ve been driving them for 10 years and I’m a bit over them is all. I’d like a wagon of some description with coils all around - I know - I’m getting soft - I’ll admit that but as I get older I really want to move away from them if I can help it but if I’m forced back into another one I’ll defiantly check one out.
