In the late eighties a customer was always complaining about how long the dealer required to have their F150 when in for a service. Turned out it was because it was a bit unusual and the workshop manager was using it it as a training exercise with the mechanics

    School me on commercial vehicles.

Update - The Dmax arrived a few weeks ago and Ive got a couple thousand KM on it now including a couple of 4 plus hour drives. Got to say it’s a **** load more comfortable overall than the Hilux - ride is similar to most dual cabs but the seats are miles ahead (heated too. School me on commercial vehicles.School me on commercial vehicles.) and in cab noise levels are better.

Had an ARB Accent canopy fitted and I’ve put a nudge bar and driving lights on it which is sort of a necessary as the high beams are garbage.

Overall a decent car and will do what it needs to for me and also should be noted it was over $6K cheaper than an SR5 Hilux

How do you find the mirrors? They are big enough for sure, but I hate convex mirrors on the driver's side, and even at 185 cm I sit low enough that they form a huge blind spot.

I don’t find an issue with them - they are almost identical to the Hilux I think. No blind spot at all that I’ve found - by the time I can’t see a car in the mirror I can see it next to me - both sides. I’ve turned the stupid blind spot detection off as I don’t see why it’s needed and find it a distraction.
