    Okay I'll bite, the working load rating is 1/5 of breaking strain so 800lbs, but that might be all one needs to get out of trouble, say cross axled over tyre ruts, so a lot of the time a capstan winch would suffice. Different story if bogged to the roof racks in mud.

    Well he's only running highway tyres, so the worst he's probably gonna get stuck is on a slippery lawn at the local park.

    Despite the theories of capacity, materials or uses, that fairlead won't last very long at all and neither would whatever rope it is if the pull has any angle whatsoever.

    My theory is that this is just a ride on lawnmower that looks like a jeep and that rope hanging out of the front is the pull start cord for the briggs and stratton motor that runs the mower
