Another thing that irks me is the media, weather mob.

"Sunset will be at Six Thirty-something pm, this evening". Well, I'll be damned.

A headline banner once stated, "Police arrest man wielding chainsaw".

Now, there's three ways to take this, although I have to say that I've never seen a "Man wielding chainsaw". Sounds like a dangerous bit of kit.

And another thing...universal use of 'so-and-so and I' when so-and-so and me' is indicated. 'Someone gave this to Ledasha and I for Christmas'.

Reminds me of the report that stated someone had been 'confronted by a group of ten armed men'. One ten-armed man would be scary enough, but a group of them?

I always want to hit the reporter who says 'A man has been killed after his car crashed into a pole...' Either he was killed WHEN his car crashed into a pole, or he survived only to succumb to some other misfortune at a later time.

Do you think they may be a bunch of Octupus that was/were caught in a nuclear blast, say at Monte Bello during UK Atomic Trials ?

My bugbear is unique, people say "really unique" or "very unique" whereas something is unique or it is not, as in the only one of it's kind.
