    Grasmere green as RGB/CMYK ?

    Hi team!
Has anyone got any idea of a Hex# or Pantone code for the Landrover Grasmere green colour
    paint code is 2207/HBV
and I found this number CB#89420, but am not sure what that refes to, in HEX it is a tan colour.

Just wanting to print something with a (at least semi-) accurate colour tone.

    Any input appreciated!

You could try ringing places that supply automotive paint, like Supercheap or Autobarn as they can look up paint codes according to your vehicle's vin or rego even. Whether that is in a Pantone format, I don't know.

Pantone is a clever invention and made it's inventor Lawrence Herbert a multimillionaire, although as I understand it it is more for graphics/printing than car colours. However if JLR's marketing dept. ever had a Grasmere green car featured in an advertisement, then there is a very good chance it would've been given a Pantone code, so that the ad, brochure, banner, poster, etc. could be transmitted across the world and be faithfully reproduced.

This is the best I can come up with for you.

    RGB 144.167.139

    C 47%
    M 23%
    Y 50%
    K 1%

Give those a try and see how they go you can test and adjust from there.

Edit: Also found a hex of 999966 or possibly 90A78B, don't what they look like or how they work.
There is no eraser on the pencil of life.

Now - Not a Land Rover (2018 Dmax)
    Was - 2008 D3 SE 4.0l V6
    Was - 2000 D2 TD5 with much fruit.

    90A78B is 144.167.139

24 bit hex you break the code into bytes. So 90 A7 AB. 90 hex is 144 decimal, and so on.
the concept is each primary colour is represented as 256 discrete brightness levels from 0 to fully saturated (255). 000000 is black and FFFFFF is white.

    999966 is 153.153.102
