I'm like you Ian, had to read a couple of times. I Believe " emo" is schoolyard abbreviation for emotional, and such people in that particular state cut themselves.

All clear..? Or should I say cut and dried?

I thought it was hilarious. Sadly, many people seem to be losing their sense of humour in the quest for politically correct woolly headed thinking that only serves to enhance the power base of the wimps, ******* and wowsers that are reducing this, and other countries, to the lowest common denominator.
The ability to laugh with and at yourself is the very basis of inner strength and resilience, which is just what many of the less fortunate amongst us need, rather than mollycoddling and wrapping in cotton wool. End rant.

I just think that jokes about children with mental disorders and self harming are not appropriate. If you want to think I'm a 'wowser' or '******' for that then that's your prerogative. I couldn't give a flying hoot.

Similarly suggesting that those with a mental illness need to 'harden up' shows just how backwards attitudes in Australia are.
