I've heard few members say they awoke their bottle jack from its sleep under the bonnet of their D2 , only to find it wouldnt work.
the english lanes are not like our corrugated dirt roads and the seals leak after a while and jack goes dry lying on its side.
thats when D2 owners put them in the rear storage boxes...upright...after mistakingly buying a new one instead of filling the old one..
