New road rules- can we still use our CB's ?

I've been copping that more and more.

Cop - Is this your caravan?
Me - No, it belongs to my Grandfather.
Cop - Does he know you have it?
Me - Possibly, but it can be variable.
Cop - Care to explain?
Me - Sometimes he forgets who I am let alone whether he still has a Caravan.
Cop - We pulled you over because the owner of the vehicle is unlicensed, does he still drive?
Me - He's 101. He turned in his license 6 months after he turned 100.

Last time the "insert vulgar name for one with little intelligence" officer jumped out in front of me from about 3 car lengths away while I was doing 70 fully loaded. I nearly turned him into a pancake.

I have the greatest respect for our law enforcement, and it's not a job I'd be willing to take on. Having said that, Having a uniform on with a hi-viz vest does not exempt one from the laws of physics.
