So in Queensland, would they have to put the spacers on the outside of the wheels? [bigwhistle]
I think special wheels - or use a Series 1!

I used to see a Td5 Ute with those retractable railway wheels from the train between Wynyard and Circular Quay stations just as the train exited the tunnel. Must have been 20 odd years ago.
I regularly saw a 130 similarly equipped round here. These days they use a variety of Toyotas - equipped with large 'pedestrian safe' bumpers that the railway wheels retract behind.
