Some mobs i have never even heard of, but for my 5 cents worth, was with acay for years on dialup, then telpacific bought them and stayed with them, , when we finally got broadband out here in the rurals, i went with the aapt bundled package, as i already had the phone with them, they have been good, no problems and considering there are two computors on,we have never gone over the limit.
i wouldn't touch telstra with a barge pole,if you have shares with them you will have read their latest shareholders letter.

i was with iinet for the last 6 years up till a few months ago with no problems but i personally never really rely on there customer service... only time i get up them is when the lines go down and thats usually a telstra fault.

I did however switch over to dodo a few months back for 3x the speed and 45gb download, saved $10 a month and also haven't had any problems as yet touch wood.

    Oh! am I repeating myself?

Two years of paying overpriced charges for slow ISDN because Telstra said our cable failed the ADSL test, only to find that Telstra's own cable records were wrong and the automatic tester rejected our service automatically because it thought we were on a different exchange!!!!! We could have had ADSL all along! I hate the Bastards. Now they've built Next G and are locking out other telcos so that there will be no competition. If you could swear on this forum the next thirty words would be blue ones used to describe Testra.

I think he's ****ed because telstra is rolling out new technology and not immediately sharing it with the opposition and he's feeling he has lack of choice in the market place!

Fact is Telstra would be OK if they could compete at the others levels, but government regs prevent that so that the others have a chance...

Telstra mobile ****s all over the others for coverage and performance IMHO and experience. Their service to me and my businesses has always been top notch along with general pricing in the vacinity of the others.

However their Broadband packages are poor value...

Heres another useful link to check if any ISP's have rolled out DSL2 to your exchange.

Just type in your phone number at the top

I've been with Matida for years. First with dialup and broadband for the last 12 months or so. Only ever had a couple of problems that were sorted quickly. I have unlimited for $49-95 per month'
