Our house we had built 40 odd years ago is full of stuff we will never use again. Mostly the Cooks of course.... :)
Maybe I'll just leave it to as it is and let others sort it out when I leave this mortal coil. Certainly not worth worrying about.

If your shed is full,then the sheds of the chaps you are offering to, or those you are trying to sell to, are also probably full too.
Those with space in their sheds are either too into tech and don't need mechanic gear, or are new to it all and don't appreciate a good deal yet.
The other side of buying stuff is that these days it needs to be local. Freight costs are up way out of common sense range, fuel is likewise. So no-one wants to drive a good distance to buy something on the off-chance that it really is of good value. Buy new and get a warranty, get it quicker, lower fuel cost and possibly cleaner. It matters with covid about.
I too have items to move on, but can't find a taker. This is while having trouble locating certain other things. Freight cost is a big problem.
When planning your new shed you are never aware of what you will eventually want to put in it. A partly full shed has only been in place a short time. Those without a shed-or equivalent- do not have hands-on type hobbies/collections.

From the calls I see on Facebook from people asking for advice re house/window cleaners, gardeners, car washers/detailers and all sorts of other simple things many of us do, there's a hell of a lot who can't/ won't do anything for themselves these days.
Then they moan about the boomers having an easy life.
Since I retired I've never worked so hard.

I'm currently in a clean up mode, lots of my workshop content is just going to the land fill - I cannot be bothered to advertise, wait, offer, haggle etc.
Turns out the "stashing away" of useful things is actually nothing more than a waste of space time and money. [bigwhistle]
I would collect stickers, magnets and trinkets from trips as well - dont bother anymore, just bloody dust collectors..
An uncluttered life is quite enjoyable [biggrin]

Just going through this exercise right now as it happens & never had the need to in past years & firmly thought I was the only one ever to face this dilemma. "Fortunately" the younger bloke who cuts our paddocks who will take this & other gear is local, but I do wonder if it will be on Gum tree in a week or two. All that hard earned dosh going for nowt. A Sad sad day. Then I have a Steel Skip coming next week for a heap of other stuff not required any more.

Couple of years ago I had 2 surplus tyres with a fair tread left but couldn't be bothered advertising them so put them out for the council bulk collection. But being a nasty sort I carefully drilled lots of holes in them first.....
They lasted about 5 mins after I put them out. :)
I wonder if they tried plugging them?
