I recently read Shadow Warrior “David Everett”, twice in the book he mentions/says the same thing/phrase. I’d say Ben and his colleagues would have operated the same all these years on.

David started his army in the army as an apprentice motor mechanic, got bored and switched to SASR, than went a little rouge.

I used to work with a bloke, who fought in P.N. Kokoda track and they did not take prisoners. He said his commander if they had a prisioner, the commander would nod to someone and that person would March the enemy into the jungle and only one of them would come back. So it’s been going on in past wars and will probably still be done. The horrors of war.

And because of that we now have the Laws of Armed Conflict.

Just wondering how many of the enemies "solders" are being investigated for their war atrocities???
