    Series 200TDI swap temperature sender help

    Hey, first post so probably in the wrong place.

    I have a 200TDI from. Discovery 1 in my Series IIa. I’m having trouble getting the temperature sender right. I’ve been recommended to use a 200TDI sender and a voltage regulator to get the guage right. Does anyone have any experience with this and could help me? I’m not good with wiring!

    Also, does anyone know the right sender to order from Repco etc?

    Hi Paul,

    Welcome to AULRO

    The sender needs to match the gauge.

    What gauge are you using? The Series II gauge?

    Do you have the sender from the Series II motor?

    I don't know what ohm range the original setup used, but someone more knowledgeable may know.

    If you don't get an answer try posting in the Series II section

    I purchased the one from Steve Parker in the UK, seems to work okay Will fit an alarm one day.
