You dont have to wait for RACV, If you're still in tacoma or within an hour of reservior, I can make a call out for you.
A quality battery that lives for five years is a relative rarity, for a supercrap one to go that long is nothing short of a miracle.
I used to exclusively buy supercheap batteries, one year warranty. They were cheap, in every sense of the word and never lasted the year. I'd take them back for a replacement and reset the guarantee. Worked a treat, until they started pro rata warranties.![]()
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Well RACV been and the battery isn't good wont hold charge, and he put it on his starter pack and the car tried to start. Could smell fuel, and he thinks there is a block in the fuel line or pump. As the fuel isn't getting to the engine.
He went under the back of the car and was hitting something under there. So I will have to get it to uptech and get RACV to tow it. Another problem for me to fix . Heather

I will be close in a week if you need any help Heather. Also happy to show the boat on the water if needed.
the tittle of the threat made me smile today. I rushed to help stabilize a bit of a DAD drama last week dressed in sandals. No Shoes NO RUNNING SHOES
Picked them up along with a razor today. Smooth running for me once the razor is used and shoes are mounted.
Hi James, Brendon's car was towed to uptech in Monbulk yesterday. I know it needs a new battery as it isn't holding the charge anymore, RACV guy said also that there might be a block fuel line that's way the engine wont fully turn over and start.. Did ring uptech and Tony said it might be spark plug gumed up as the car hasn't been driven for a long time. So I will it up to them and they will let me know. About the boat I hope I don't jinxs it, but I did have a guy that was our courier when we had the business knock at the door yesterday, and asked about the boat, as his son inlaw is looking for a boat and they might go halves in it. I only saw him last week up at the shops and he didnt know Mario had gone. So I have to get in to the boat and put the battery on the charger, and Mario mate that lives 3 door up, is going to help me start the motor he was the one that went out with Mario fishing. Mario help this courier on a few times with the Rangrover pulling his large van out of very steep drive ways when he was delivering parcels in this hilly area. There he goes again (Mario) helping people I will let you know what happens. Thanks again for reaching out to me.Heather
Well I have the update on Brendon's car, it was the fuel pump that was the problem and they tried to charge the battery over night and it wont hold the charge any more which I knew before it went up there. So new battery as well. I have asked them to do a service on the car as well as no one has done any work on it for over 4 years. I know this wouldn't have happen if Mario was still around as he was always over all our cars we had here. So I expecting a large bill which I am not worried about as it needs to be done. So I can start driving it a lot more and knowing it is safe. And if Brendon comes home next year for Xmas he will need the car, and he has a mate from oversea that will be in Aust, and he wants to drive him around. Thanks guys for your help etc. Heather
Well I pick up Brendon's car which had a LOT of work done on it. Replace battery, fuel pump new spark plugs. And on top I got them to do a total service air/oil clean throttle body, maf checked all drive line and fuel lines, tyres/brakes new wipers 5 hour labor check underbody, there was a lot more. So I was expecting a high bill, I was thinking around 2000, but it came a few hundreds under. I can not complain as I know how much parts have gone up when we had the business. Drove it home and it runs like a new car, and just gave it a wash just now and it looks like when Mario first bought it for Brendon. Next project to to clean the boat and sell that , Heather
