I think I will take my chances. It would need three tyres totally ruined to stop me. I think these XZL,s are nearly bullet proof but evidence to the contrary will be gratefully received[smilebigeye]

Had that type of thing happen too.
About 50 years ago in New Ireland PNG I was running 750-16 Michelin XS Saharas on my 86 inch Landie. I was running them pretty soft for comfort and had tubes to keep the air in the old rusty rims I had. After a couple of years I started getting flats and the cause was the steel wires in the tyre breaking and then poking holes in the tubes.
