Two surfboards and a whole heap of other gear.

They must have a ladder tucked away somewhere to help get it off and on i presume.

It just seems like they could make better use of those roofracks.

    Cheers

Reminds me a bit of a sight seen in rural France fifty years ago - a Citroen DS wagon, with what looked like an entire bedroom suite on the roof - doublebed, wardrobe and dressing table!

That roof box and a couple of boards would likely have no more influence on the vehicles handling dynamics than a Roof Top Tent.

I've seen a few 4wds have to take evasive action with a RTT on and.... well, lets say... They were lucky to remain rubber side down.

    Or a crane.

Ah, but who knows what the unseen "other gear" consists of? A few bags of concrete mix?

Some Railway line waste cut Ends?
You can't say it wouldn't be possible because you cannot see past the black things & I can't see Surfboards that are recognizable to me.

We have all seen some stupid things unsafely carried on a Car why is this guy any different, is he/she a favourite rellie of someone here?

Really, why should we care anyway if it is in Cloud Cuckoo land?

    Deffo CCL

.Cloud cuckoo land is a state of absurdly, over-optimistic fantasy or an unrealistically idealistic state of mind where everything appears to be perfect. Someone who is said to "live in cloud cuckoo land" is a person who thinks that things that are completely impossible might happen, rather than understanding how things really are.[1] It also hints that the person referred to is naive, unaware of realities or deranged in holding such an optimistic belief.

    I rest my case M'lud.
