Imagine how much a full suspension kit front/rear + a few ancilliary bits and pieces would cost. You could spend more than my whole car cost me!
Thanks for the reality check :(
[quote=spudboy]Ouch! Is that just the 2 alloy "drilled" arms, or a front end kit as detailed here:

Better going for the QT ones alot cheaper

these are $414 for the pair. My brother has them on his 90 (soon to be Tomcat)
Closer to $700 the pair actually...
For $414.00 a pair I'd order 20 :D shipping then kills the savings off, especially customs and duty.
Tombraider
that's still 6.57 pairs of the QT's to 1 pair of the Equippe's!! :o
are you sure you meant $4600 the pair???
Just fitted 3 degree qt arms and red polybushes last week.
Cost $520 at my door for the arms (138 pounds for the arms, 72.50 pounds shipping) from Paddock Motors (plus the polybushes, can't recall what they were). I managed to avoid the customs. Sometimes manage to avoid customs with stuff, sometimes don't but I haven't worked out why yet. Import duties would be another 15% and GST then 10% on that, so yeah around $700.
Gotta say though they fit better and ride better than my original front arms, which I put new bushes in only a couple of months ago.
Also got Scorpion rear arms, turret extensions, dislocation cones, retainers etc. with king springs and bilstein shocks. Scorpion may have a bad rap but I don't know why. I recon the quality with the stuff I got is good, no problems at all - well did have too much articulation on the rear - the springs came off the cones but that was only 'cause I fitted them back to front so shouldn't really complain there
In fact the qt arms had rust stains when they arrived, probably just condenstation from the welds but I had to wire brushed it off and paint them, so I would say with very limited experience the Scorpion stuff was better than the qt stuff, but never hear anything bad about qt.
No,closer to $2500,and one hell of a lot better.Equipe stuff is not cheap crap!!:wasntme:Quote:

I bought a rear driveshaft from QT,when it got here,it didn't fit, even though it was listed to fit my model Defender.I told them and they wanted me to send it back at my cost.I just took it to the local driveshaft guy, that builds drivelines for a lot of the local comp trucks. When he saw it ,he laughed, and pointed out the cheap uni joints that are made in Turkey, and the cheap slide that is made in India. So I wouldn't give QT another cent,if they were the last place selling parts.I don't mind paying top dollar,as long as I get what I am paying for, when I don't:mad:
