Why?

In education we do it so that nobody freaks out at a blank page while thinking they have missing print error. Page numbers with Page 1 of 2 format is also used for this reason.

The blank pages are usually to do with double sided printing, with starting a new sections on a new page, and detachable sheets not removing exam content such as answer sheets. We also have to create a back page which is blank to that the exam can be issued without exposing it.

Many years since I used a VFG, but given the multitude of publications one is suppose to read and be familiar with, I would welcome such a page! [bigsmile]

However, from what I do recall it is to do with installing updates in the ring folder so that the existing page numbering is not altered in that edition. I just don't remember why TBH, or how the updated numbering was printed.

I said complete accuracy.... but I don't recall if they were numbered. There were more than one, all consecutive.
