when it comes to market value, they refuse to tell me the current value.
Same experience with them here when plus they were not competitive with the RAC.

RAC... policy certainty plus lower premium than Youi.

Youi... policy uncertainty plus higher premium than RAC.

    Youi car insurance

Nothing new here. Essential to have unfortunately. El cheapo quotes come home to roost if you have a claim. Just talk to some repairers and you will find out which insurers screw down repair quotes.

i dont have kids, but i do like my friends driving my cars.

    2)
companies have starting refuinig to provide 3rd party insurance if the car is worth too much, forcing you to pay the higher comprehensive.
You better believe it ... both my daughters cars. With the first one, I was going to register the little car in her name and and insure in her name. ****box insurance came back at nearly $1000 a year (3rd party property). For me .... $180 a year. I registered and insured it in my name.

Just turned 50 ... no at fault accident in my entire life ..... or infringements .... I should be the lowest insurance risk around (oh, and locked up off street parking for all vehicles). Gee's I still pay a ransom in insurance over the year though

I don't believe number two. Its irrelivant how much your car is worth as they are not covering it!
