driving down to appin on the m5 for a play today, just past the liverpool/casula exit, i notice a nicely restored morris minor entering the m5 in my rear view mirror.

i comented to my missus that it done up well and not to slow either

next thing i know its beside my honking its horn! thinking it must be another pommy car freek i honk in return then look over, christ i said its bloody scouce!

flamin hoons! in lavender coloured morris's

must have been going to supercheap for fathers day

ive been known to drive the noddy car in the past i did own one for a short time

G'day All, my first car was a Morris, a Morris Cooper S 1275cc of pure grunt nothing off the showroom floor of the day could keep up with them, but that was a long time ago and I'm still alive to talk about it cheers Dennis

PS I forgot to add it was new not a S/hand unit dont want to give away my age

When they were new yes they were fast.......
I had one in about 1990 and it was worked ALOT, and it was slow compared to my mates Torry's and the new Comodores of the days....
