Poor old Toyota..... Clear that Spinifex when your in the Bush.

Friend of mine had a fire under his Rangie during one of his Simpson trips in the early 80s, luckily he was able to extinguish it and only real damage was to the vacuum line to the diff lock.

I used to carry a length of 1/4" stainless rod with a hook to drag grass etc out from underneath, the biggest catch area was apparently above the gearbox cross member.
