I suppose this has been on the cards for some time. No doubt once the vehicles hit the market place they will find ready purchasers, well they are not making anymore of them. I know the vehicles may have hard a hard life but the servicing will have been done on a regular basis. It will be interesting to see how the replacements fare as an all around vehicle. Bet the price per vehicle will be a lot higher than the out going vehicles.
Here in Australia the army replaced them with Mercedes G-wagons, it seems as Ford who owned LR at the time didn't even bother tendering.
