    Stupid computor Help

My stupid computor is doing strange things in outlook, If I send an email with attachment it splits the messge into 27 or more emails and the recipient can't open it. is this a setting or more complex, some emails never go through as well. seems to receive ok as far as I know.

Try running a virus scan with AVG (updated files). If no luck there try downloading and running Ad Aware and Spy-bot Search and Destroy.
    Otherwise try reinstalling outlook.

I'd also suggest checking the Symantec.com web site virus library for possible viruses causing it.

Actually thinking about it I would say it is a virus. Check out this link it may help and it does link to other AV sites for reference.http://www.securiteam.com/securitynews/5YP0A0K8CM.html

    Sorry if it's a bit IT techno-speak.

Maybe not a virus, I know outlook can be set to split attachments, so maybe you have turned this on somehow, do a search in help for combine and decode - it may give you some pointers as to where it is.

The option can be found by clicking on Accounts on the Tools menu, select the Mail tab, highlight the account you are using, then click Properties and select the Advanced tab. Under "Sending", set the "Break apart messages larger than" to an appropriate size.

    Check that size.

Last week I received a number of messages with the same subject line and sender (when viewed in Mailwasher) but Outlook Express (or was it Outlook - I was in the middle of changing) reconstituted it into a single message.
