What a trip to harvey....
Well, back from a day destroying landrovers down at harvey, the weather was warm , the mud was deep and the rocks as hard as usual

There was a string of dents, bends, bits being ripped off and near roll overs, Brad (Sith) took a beautifully restored Rangerover with a new TDi motor (out the crate)maxilocked both ends, laminated diffs the list is endless and drove it hard..so hard I offered to remove his kids from his rear passenger door that was at such an angle it makes more for a hatch then a door
once his kids were out it was only his wife left to terrorise whilst he got out of the most horrendous deep rut...panel damage, missing rear light lenses and ripped off bumper bits, great attitude about it and it was good to meet him and his family, ziggy was the air for the day with our international guest Robert (Kookeynet) in the passenger seat, when he had extreme sitting on its ass litterally with its front wheels begging like paws..with 6 of us pushing he got out of that hole and rich (KIE4) halfway through ziggys obstacle decideds to leave via the side wall and got his disco a good metre off the ground, dat boy got air
D90 made it all look easy with is modded 90..talk about droop that thing from behind looked like the letter "X" with wheels attached
Landy andy was the PR man for the day and used up all his batteries on his camera whilst shot guning in a Toyo Ser80 Baz who performed well considering its a Toyo..I was tailend charlie and it was fun negotiating the same obstacles after all those bastardiches tore up the mud before me
great day by all my co-driver Tony (frenchie) had his camera running hot aswell, I gaffere taped mine to the dash so after I download it and edit it I will post some "Landycam" shots..
Big thanks to our tour guide RichardK who without him it just would'nt be a harvey trip.. every line of travel Richard points out I take and always get through, experiance is a wonderful thing...
Oh Steve (crump) I ripped off the welded on front diff protector off the stoutbeck bash plate goin back wards for a run up ... ouch..glad its shiny as it showed up in the mud....
the tear was just the weld coming free so a 6 pack and I'll get it welded on again.
No doubt the boys will add to this post with some interesting pics and vids..
Great day thanks to all who attended...
