Point of fact :
Soft Roaders are not real 4WDs, so should not even be on the list.

I don't give a stuff about the other 9 because I know Land Rover is number one.
If a publication shows anything else they have been bribed or mislead by Bull.
And I thought the British were bias and patriotic....?!?!?!? But...!
Shall we discuss what happened from the Battle of Midway and afterwards? Perhaps Bismarck Sea, Phillipine Sea, Leyte Gulf, the Japanese Home Islands Campaign, the total destruction of the Japanese merchant fleet, The almost total destruction of Japanese major cities and industrial capacity. Also, Land Rover literature would have been printed in German if not for U.S. industrial capacity. Remember, Kaiser's liberty ships, B17's, B24, 25, 26's. P38, 40, 51's. LST's LSI's,Packard, Allison, Pratt & Whitney, 400,000 Jeeps, 2,225,000 GM 6x6, countless spark plugs, condoms, hand tools, tinned foods, umpty-ump miles of Marston matting, and over ten million servicemen. In the 1970's Chevrolet were making 10,000 small blocks per day, & the Buick V6Quote:

Everyone has to sell into America to survive.

I think the Kia looks only slightly less capable off road than a skateboard so lets have a look at the Kia with blinkers off:
Ground clearance :8 inches – whats that about the height of two house bricks
Selectable 2/4wd whooo!
Full time 4wd, (optional extra though)
No CDL
Quote “harsh ride over sharp bumps” hmmm that would be handy off-road!
I think my 81’ rangie would beat the kia to a pulp.
Now compare the Kia to a 2005 RR:
Dynamic Stability Control
Hill Descent Control
Electronic Air Suspension
Traction Control
terrain-recognition
electronic CDL
That’s just what I can think of I’m sure the list would be longer.
Oh yer and lets see if 70 percent of Kia’s made are still on the road in 30 or so years time.
I don’t think it was said that Landy’s were the best but anyone who tries to tell you that a Kia is BETTER than a RR off road is off their head and really if they think that they should by one and leave landy’s for those of us who can appreciate them.
I think I’ll have my blinkers back on and sit back in my RR and smile.

Hi Folks,
I just wanted to make a couple of points:
1) The list was in alphabetical order and does not represent ability.
2) The list was for "off highway" capability.
Having been in the USA a lot, the latter could mean dirt road use!
Cheers,
Rob
