SIII SWB ---> Trailer any interest

Im about to start into transforming what remains of Bug 2.0 into a trailer.

Before I start the process is anyone sufficiently interested in the process to justify me taking the time to get the pics and a log started on it or do I just RSTAB it?

Ok this weekend will see the start of it then.. heres the briefish back story on how Bug 2.0 came to be in my life and her demise.

Bug 2.0 was a SIII SWB Diesel purchased in part to replace the Bug in part so I could mess with bio fuels and in part to donate its diesel engine to Kermit.

she was purchased unregistered in an as is condition with known front accident damage which had been repaired, dodgy brakes and a noisy gearbox. $400 in repairs fixed the brakes, purchased oil to fill the box and get her roadworthied.

About 4 months ago avoiding a Nuff Nuff in a mobile crumple zone saw me heading across a spoon drain at warp factor "awww crap this is gunna hurt...." Before I could get round to finishing my thoughts about how messy my corpse was going to be I was stopped. Both front tyres flat, on the wrong side of the spoon drain pointed towards an uncushionly large tree and no sign of Mr "no need to give way to oncoming traffic" Nuff Nuff.

So after the customary expletives, tyre changing and strange ride home an inspection was done. The front right chassis rail was pushed up about 1/2 an inch, the rail had bent and the spring hanger was pushed back about 3/4 of an inch, not immediately obvious but enough to make the steering and suspension uncool.

The dismembering of bug 2.0 commenced...

to get to the stage that it is now you'll have to use your imagination...

but essentially unbolt anything on the firewall or in front of it take the floor out, the roof and doors off, the engine and box out, pull the wheels and remove the seat box and your at the stage I got to before I realised that the accident damage was not as bad as suspected.

I'll take pics of how she is now and then after I get the fire wall out. As parts come off, if you want em ask they'll be free for the asking, If your within LOS of any of my holiday travel plans I'll deliver em or if you can get em picked up theyre yours.
