Hey graham, I think everyone around our area should do what I have been doing, go for a drive over the border and fill you tank in qld, i can;'t believe the price difference, of course I have had things to do up there the past few months.
I can;t believe the difference beween lismore and an hour away.
( you still want a copy of that disc, if your at the pub on friday I'll come over for a quick one)

I understand too, just completed a round trip to Adelaide and back, paid up to $1.65 plus and was happy to do so. There is no point in getting too excited by fuel prices, just do what I do, put more in when required!Quote:

Hmmm LPG Charmhaven NSW 56.9 ULP 124.9. At San Remo 2k up the road LPG is 63.9.
While I like the fact that fuel prices are lower on the coast/more populated areas I have to admit that at least regional prices dont fluctuate up and down like a yoyo. Drives me insane. I go to Tamworth every 6 weeks or so for a week, and the price is the same the whole week!
The refineries change the fuel price on purpose to even out demand during the week. Refineries usually operate at one fixed rate, so supply rates are (usually) constant, and they would ideally like demand to be constant as well. Since people tend to buy more fuel at the end of the week and weekends, the price is higher at those times. During the start of the week, they do what they call "discounting".Quote:
