I had a similar 'problem' when first buyiing my fender. You see the problem was I hadn't taken it on many big trips yet and I was no using it daily as a 4wd. Now that I have been touring up north a fair bit and use it daily for what it was designed to do i realise what a capable machine they are as stock and all those expensive mod cons aren't so important after all.

Equation: Bricklayer=$$$, $$$=TAX, Workcar -TAX=less TAX, Additions to work car = Less TAX...less TAX makes me oh and less GST

and if you think I'm out of control let me introduce you to Mike aka the walking Tombraider mechandiser who when he sells his beast is going to PM me first..hey Mike, so I can have 2 work cars and you guessed it LESS FRIGGING TAX

easy.. sometimes access to a building site is cross country besides if its for the vehicle it isn't itemised it just comes under vehicle maintenance, only if its an audit do they check...its a business thing I think or so the bean counter tells me.

You are off on the wrong foot from the start. What you need is ARB Air Lockers, Superior performance and Strength.

I disagree, whilst lockers are nice they are not a necessity.

I've driven many places that locked Bruisers/Pootrolls and even Disco 2s with F&R lockers have struggled.

It comes down to many factors, tyre placement, etc..... (and luck)

Had lockers in the last one and it was boring....

Give me flex and clearance and I'll run rings over a 2" lifted locker fitted vehicle....

However, yes, the ARB offerring is nice

On the news Holden is importing Hummers into Oz

Could this mean cheaper portal axles in the future?
