Like anything, as you go up, you raise the COG but the portals also give a wider track so that would compensate to some degree.

    Still saving for my set

Dirty Dawg I mean this in the nicest possible way but you are out of control on this spending spree for mods on your new beast.

I had a similar 'problem' when first buyiing my fender. You see the problem was I hadn't taken it on many big trips yet and I was no using it daily as a 4wd. Now that I have been touring up north a fair bit and use it daily for what it was designed to do i realise what a capable machine they are as stock and all those expensive mod cons aren't so important after all.

Don't listen to him Dawg, mod away I say......!! I know what you mean nornalup, but buying "stuff" for your pride and joy is half the fun...... with the other half actually driving it Mine has so many "bits" attached to it and bought for it (some unecessary I'll admit) but I still want more - especially some portals but that's not likely to happen soon.

Go for your life Dawg and don't let anyone stop you.......unless it's your wife of course in which case you have no option but to down tools

    Aye, Mick

For that price you may be better with the Dobbin Eng ones which are a lot stronger, or Volvo's which are a lot cheaper, or Mogs which are lot wider.
    Cheers

Ah but this will result in a test vehicle for all the mods that people might be thinking of and a great source of knowledge for the forum.

They're Ford 9" centres to Hummer drop hubs in a nut shell. These have been run in WeRock reliabley by the winner, with a 350 Chev powering filled 42" IROKs and hard locked rock driving. Actually they may be a bit more expensive than the MAxi's
