The SLS is computer controlled by the ABS computer. They normally are pretty trouble free, although the airbags do have a finite life span, somewhere in the region of 5 to 7 years.

From what i understood the SLS will self level when you start the car, so if you load the back or drop the back end down when you start the car it brings it back to normal height. I might be wrong though. Matt

Regarding the plastic I used "Back to Black" when I wanted mine to look extra clean. The effect was good but it didn't last for very long - dirt roads tend not to help in that department.
Bingo! thats exactly what i meant..... good to know anyway!Quote:

i think it looks fine too... and a few friends have asked if its new... that is until they see the bumper! hehe
where did you get the back to black from? i know it from the UK but couldnt see it here in WA.... i may even try to get my dad to post me some autoglym... im not sure if its classed as flammible tho :)
one other question.... what kind of economy am i to expect from the td5? and then what economy will i expect if i get it chipped... i have read the chip threads but people seem to say 'it doesnt really impact economy... '
oh and has anyone used the Magnet trick to improve economy?
Thanks
Steve
